Vigo Glass shower enclosures
Looking for any information concerning Vigo glass shower enclosures especially the round corner units with sliding doors. This is for a very small house with a very small bathroom, no bathtub, and I am looking to save room by eliminating the door swing from regular neo-angle. My contractor is not a fan of round units reason being their sliding mechanisms fail. Any thoughts? Not sure how to file this under bathrooms or plumbing…everything is under topic; roofers.

My experience is just from use (I’ve never installed one). These are common in the UK because they can indeed be shoe-horned into tiny spaces. What I’ve often seen is that the seal between the two sliding doors weakens so draughts come in and a little water can spray out. Also the shower enclosure space itself can be tight and claustrophobic. But obviously this style of shower is usually only installed where there’s no room for a larger, conventional one.
