Renovation advice

I am planning on selling my pre-war 1 bedroom in the spring. I want to start renovation after the New Year. I have original doors and door hardware. I also have baseboard moldings. I need to upgrade the kitchen. I was thinking of plywood cabinets with hardwood doors and granite counters (I never upgraded the current kitchen). Would I get a better price with Ikea cabinets with SemiHomeMade doors? I am also thinking of leaving the original square bathroom tiles but tiling the bathroom floor. People in my building have been tiling the bathroom completely from floor to ceiling with large tiles. Is this a trend? Finally, should I add crown moldings and ceiling fans? My electrical system was upgraded before I moved in but I will update the fixtures. I want a decent price as I would like to buy a similar co-op in a different building. Thanks.
