I need a great roofing company (with guarantees) ASAP

I have a 1-year old roof, and have already had 2 leaks. I can’t tell where the weak spot is, with the latest leak (small trickle on the 2nd from top floor). Any great roofer recommendations?

I installed an asphalt roof recently by Royal York roofing. Their service a great and of good quality. When I contacted them the experts came for an inspection then within 1 hour I got a quote as well as a design. I selected them after watching this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=37-uTz0bHHI

Call Anthony Rocko of All Type Roofing. 917-337-4707 I have used him and his father before him for more than 30 years for all my roofs. They give a twenty year guarantee and touch wood many are still going strong way beyond the twenty years.

I selected the SOPREMA PMMA fully reinforced waterproofing system. The company I used was Roof Mavens (RM), they explained everything to me and made sure I was well aware of ALL systems available including the cheaper SBS system which is what I already had (and failed). Needless to say I am now fairly educated on brownstone flat roofing systems due partly to their expertise and my own googling. Last thing, I purchased the 20 yr guarantee (they had a 10yr as well) for labor and materials that the Soprema system offered through RM. Here are some pics before, during and after. Could be a hundred different places where the water is coming in. I would check all seams and flashing. Might want to be up there next time it rains to check out what’s what. We have been having some terrific downpours.

I did the new roof as part of a much bigger job (penthouse addition). Yes, I have a call out to the GC, but I am wondering if I should not just start again with a brand new roof by a roofing specialist. I’d hate to patch and patch without exactly knowing where the leak is. No pools of water anywhere. Next door on both sides have also added a penthouse and has a brand new roof.

Did you hire the roofer who installed this 1 yr old roof, or was it installed by a previous owner that you recently purchased from? Obviously a 1 yr old roof that is leaking raises suspicion about the quality of the work, but it should be under warranty by whomever performed the installation. I would start with the original roofer and warranty if it exists. No roofer is going to volunteer to take over someone else’s poor work, attempt to repair it and put a warranty on it. If you cannot or will not go through the original roofer and warranty you will probably have to start over with another roofer. We used Premier Roofing (advertised on this site), and they installed an entire new flat roof, including 2 new skylights, building up the rear of the roof, new gutter/leaders and new roof over the mud room and have been extremely happy with their work. No issues since install and a very harsh winter. Good luck!

1 year old roof? And your having leaks already? I cant really wrap my head around this, unless it was installed improperly. Maybe this past hard winter took a toll on it.
