How to clear debris from conductor head of downspout?
Besides climbing a 50 ft. ladder, anyone have advice on how to clear debris from the conductor head of a downspout? And once clear, how to keep clear? The scupper on our flat roof lies at the base of a 4′ parapet wall. That’s too tall to reach the over the wall and clear debris by hand, and can’t reach far enough through the scupper either. We’ve got a debris screen on the scupper, but that’s only partially effective in keeping the conductor head clear. The accumulation of leaves carried from adjoining properties is preventing water from draining freely. Thanks for any suggestions.

Thanks. The shop vac light bulb came on the day after posting. Worked great.

Might try a wet dry shop vac either in blowing or sucking mode.
