Carpenter to make wooden table top

I’m interested in having a small walnut table top made and need the underside to have a groove cut out so the table top fits snuggly on the irregularly shaped base. I’m looking for a carpenter with good design sense, who pays close attention to detail, and is able to do an oil finish. It’s a very small job, but I want quality workmanship. Any recs?

Make sure you always get the price “in writing”. I had a cabinet maker recommended by my neighbor who made me a very simple medium sized “unpainted” cabinet for my bathroom. He said it would cost $700.00 which I thought was ridiculously expensive for an unfinished piece but I agreed to it. He brought me a bill for $1,450.00 detailing his “extra” work! I refused to pay more than the original estimate. That’s why I always go to myezbz.com because of what I had experienced. Because I know in EZBZ, I get reasonable prices from reputable companies/shops.
