Can anyone recommend a resourceful roofer or contractor to locate leaks on the roof or from chimney?

After Sunday’s torrential rains, we have sprung 4 leaks in the top floor ceiling. We have been trying to find where the water leaks into the house during strong rain and wind storms for years and have had a roofer and contractor do some patching, but no luck. The leaks may not be from the roof, but from masonry on the roof or the chimney, which is not capped. Can anyone recommend a very resourceful and smart roofer or contractor, who might be able to find where the water is getting in and resolve this for us? Thanks.

Trying to find the leak for YEARS? Really, wow. Maybe time for a new roof? 🙁  You could try taking a garden hose to the roof and let the water run in each area for a time, with someone below to let you know if you have any water coming in. If you can, post some photos, the problem may be obvious to fellow brownstoners.
