Basement Puddles, Day of Blizzard
Anyone know what I can do about puddles in my basement on days like today when the ground is so wet that I believe it’s coming up from underneath?

Same is sue wire me, I found a few puddles in our basement and went crazy trying to figure out where the water came from. The rest of the house is dry and there are no leaks from the first floor, where the hell is the water coming from?? I also thought from underground but it’s a cement floor so that seems a little impossible….any suggestions/help?

Me too, if it never happened before. Probably poor drainage around the sides. Rubble stack mortared wall??? If you can isolate where it’s coming in, patch it with hydraulic cement. Buy the bigger container of powder and mix it as needed. May need to do it twice.
