AAA Roofing: Unfortunate experience

Based solely upon several recommendations in this forum, I called AAA Roofing to replace downspouts and gutters and to repair flashing on my roof. I was generally satisfied with his work and his price, but recently experienced a problem with him (most refer to him as Renato, but whoever uses his phone refers to himself as George). I noticed a slow leak of water into my home beneath an area where he had repaired the flashing. I phoned him and set up an appointment for him to inspect and repair the work. He failed to show up for the appointment and now his phone goes right to voice mail whenever I call. Has he left town? Gone out of business? Decided not to back the quality of his work? Has anyone else had a negative experience with AAA Roofing?

I have the same exact, recent experience with Renato. He replaced downspouts, new copper scupper, heat cables and misc. work. He was eager to start the job and very responsive. But he was supposed to return to do some finishing work. He promised to show many times and never did, and eventually he stopped taking my calls or returning my text messages. I sometimes called him from a friends phone and he would pick up, but he never committed to showing up to finish the work I already paid for. For me it’s not worth the hassle of going to small claims court but I anyone considering hiring him should probably look elsewhere.
