Skylights

We used our regular roofer to replace a skylight, paid about $2,000 IIRC about five years ago. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend specific firms bc I work for Brownstoner. You might check the Pros section (our classified ads) for roofers and related, or search past Forum posts via Google. Good luck with your project.

hi! would appreciate recommendations for replacing two skylights (installed in 2011) in a small single family? One fixed, one with access to the roof. Any current good quality/energy efficient models/brands? if you can share quotes you got/what you paid it would be greatly appreciated!! (too bad this forum appears dead vs 2011; it was a life-saving resource…)

We used www.supremeskylights.com for our renovation a few years ago and they’ve performed very well since then. Our contractor selected them, so I’m sorry I don’t have prices. We have a scuttle type, a motorized one (with rain sensor, which is actually awesome), and a couple fixed ones.
