Door Sill Riser

I recently installed a new front door and the door sill isn’t thick enough to conceal the 1/2″ expansion gap that was left for the wood floor. Can anyone help me figure out where to get a piece similar to the one highlighted in the picture. I’ve contacted Jeld-Wen and they said they don’t sell thicker door sill risers. Thanks.

You, or your contractor can make one. Use a 5/4″ board if that’s thick enough and bevel the edges on the table saw or a bench router. If you need more thickness, glur two 1″ boards together.
