New Yorker CGS Series Boiler

Thanks all. The installer recommended it, but I asked for a Burnham. It was a flat fee. He agreed to install a Burnham.

Does anyone have a view on this New Yorker boiler? I understand it’s by a Burnham off shoot company. And I understand that a New Yorker is somewhat cheaper than a Burnham. But for a total newbie, does it matter, especially if the installer is highly recommended by someone I trust? Thanks, as always, for your input.

Spend the additional money on the Burnham…it is a superior product to NewYorker, which is a builder grade line. I think that it is at best foolish to save a few bucks on infrastructure that you plan to live with for 30 years or so
