I need a licensed plumber to file a job and be present for a plumbing inspection

i looked up your name and found the address of your property (307 11th st)…going into the DOB records i see that the license holder who last filed the job is still in businesss. I would contact him

all, I had work done ten years ago by a general contractor, and he got a permit for the renovation, but installed an island sink (correctly). I can’t get a letter of completion from DOB until I find a licensed plumber who will file a permit and be present for a brief plumbing inspection. I already found one, and he did file a plumbing permit, but he closed his business and is no longer licensed, so I need a new plumber.

I can certainly understand that a contractor wouldn’t want to be in the business of permitting and inspections for other people’s work, but I’m willing to pay and it seems very straightforward.

Without a letter of completion, my kids may not be able to sell the house in 40 years time because a bank won’t provide a mortgage if the house doesn’t match the DOB files, and a letter of completion from DOB is thus a necessity.

the man you should be reaching out to comes on here under “Master Plumber”. he is a licensed plumber who i do not believe does the actual work anymore but consults.
