how many BTU is this radiator?

anyone know how i can calculate the BTU of this steam radiator?

it is 38″ tall x 24″ wide x 8″ deep. I want to replace it with one that will fit under the window which is 25″ to the bottom of the sill and about 36″ wide. [IMG_5685](//muut.com/u/brownstoner/s3/:brownstoner:PI0H:img_5685.jpg.jpg)

The book Greening Steam has a section devoted to this. I found it so helpful that I bought a copy years ago after checking out from library…then I gave the book to a friend. Try heatinghelp.com
