Hi, We are gut renovating a 5 story townhouse and have decided to use hydronic radiant heat throughout. I was wondering if anyone had any installers they have used for a similar system that they highly recommend. Many thanks for your help.

hi, unfortunately, i can’t recommend any installers, though i too am looking. more precisely, i would like to install the pex myself, but i need a professional to inspect it and connect it all to the manifolds. one floor will be in the slab and i will staple-up between the joists for the the floor above that. i have put calls out here and in other places for experienced and competent installers, but have gotten nothing. i can’t believe that with all the gut renovations that happen round the clock in this city, that there aren’t heating contractors who make a living doing just radiant. i recommend calling some national radiant associations for names of local members. good luck.
