We are getting mini split heat pump system for heating/cooling. This would replace a gas powered water heating system with baseboard heating. The price of installation includes “decomissioning” but does not include boiler removal. Proablably not baseboard removal either.

Who do you go to for that? Also, is it possible to sell the furnaces (there are 2 – it is a 2 family house.) They are about 7-8 years old.

Anyone install minisplits from gas have some insight?

To officially remove the boiler requires a LMP and Permit from the city, so it is probably why they are not performing the work
