Laminated/safety glass or insulated glass for deck door?

No A/C.

I planning to go with insulated & tempered (safety) glass on the french doors. Plus the Anderson 3000 Series Fullview aluminum storm door.

Does the house have air conditioning? The storm door will provide some thermal help in the winter but in the summer when it is a screen door it is no help and you will have more heat gain than if you had a door with insulated glass.
