new boiler options?

We are renovating a woodframe house and need to get rid of the old oil boiler, does anyone have any feedback on the process and what types of boiler you selected? thanks

May as well make sure the boiler is the right size for the chimney, while you’re at it! Don’t want to blow a hole in the chimney liner and have to reline.

Yes, the customer gets the rebate in the form of a Visa gift card. I just came from their “Trade Ally” seminar. It’s worth a look, but there is a backlog for oil-to-gas conversions right now. always start by getting one that fits the system in your house. too big and you will waste fuel and put wear and tear on the boiler – too small and you end up not being able to heat the whole house. any plumber worth their salt will do an estimate based upon the no. of radiators and the size of the system itself so as to size the boiler.
