REPAIR OF 100 YEAR OLD PARKQUET FLOORING

Does anyone have a recommendation?  A few of the boards in the boarder have cracked and should be replaced.  I will need someone who not only can replace the boards but can match the color.  I have had a few estimates and it doesn’t seem like anyone has this expertise.  The floor is white oak and the color is amber. Obviously the wood itself and the finish has aged over the years so i will need someone who is really experienced in color matching and may even have some salvaged old wood they can use. Thanks in advance for your help.

Get a quote from INTI Wood Floors as well.  They refinished my antique parquet floors at my brownstone in Windsor Terrace.  Did a great job as well replacing or finding wood to match damaged areas underneath some radiators I had removed.  Call Carlos at 646-418-0925 or email him at carlos@intirenovation.com   Good Luck,

About 3 years ago just before I moved in, Larry Narasingh (KNock on Wood) repaired and refinished all of the floors in my house. Closets, stairs, parquet pieces and wide planks. He repaired holes and missing pieces, and rearranged some of the existing boards to make it look as though nothing had been touched.He even brought over other reclaimed wood to match. He did an excellent job, and even removed and reinstalling all of my radiators. I highly recommend him. I hope this number is current: 917-539-3017.
