Is there any way to refresh an old polyurethane finish on our floors? We believe it is water based poly.  We have to replace some wood on our floors already and are afraid that a full sanding and refinishing will lead to more wood needing to be replace and a lot more $$.  We thought maybe be we could sand the old glossy poly to make some tooth and recoat in a satin or matt poly.  Any thoughts or experience with this?  Thanks in advance!

Yes, aside from just using wipe on products (the Bruce Fresh Finish is best), get a floor guy to come in and see if they can be “screened” and then new poly put on.   Call Jose 917-355-7977
