I am pleased to announce the comments in the archive have been restored — a total of about 160,000 comments on 25,000 posts. Our tech team did a bunch of work over the past few days. If you guys could check it out and let us know if there are any issues or problems, would be greatly appreciated. For those interested in the technical details, we always had the comments but they weren’t associated with the questions, so didn’t display on the front end. Manually associating all of this would have been impossible, but our tech folks were able to write a custom script that got the job done. Let us know how it looks. Thanks!

Thank you Cate. We saw a couple houses get away, but cross fingers so the next is the one! I have been trying the archived posts, and the search function works to get me relevant questions. However, when I click on ‘comments’ to see the answers, I get a ‘Oops! that page can’t be found.’ So tantalizing! Dozens of posts with relevant information, just the questions I’m wondering about, anywhere between 4 and 42 comments on each … and none available. Am I doing something wrong?
