Anyone happy with an architect for C of O conversion?

I’ve followed all the forum links so far on referrals… looking for an owner who is happy with the architect they hired to draw up their C of O conversion. I’ve got an expeditor, and I’m not going for a new look or fancy design work, or modern materials, just trying to get C of O as a 2-family, leaving the original house as much intact as is as possible–I believe this is just the drawings part? Any owners out there go through this and are pleased with their architect? Looking for someone who has successfully completed at least a couple of these conversions. Thanks for any referrals, SSS

Filing and obtainment of an approval of the Alt 1 application for a change of CofO is standard practice and is primarily affected by zoning district regulations and particular district designations. On the architectural side, as it affects egress and wall/floor assemblies, almost anything can be accomplished. It will be helpful to have a skilled and experienced expeditor on board to follow through on CO obtainment. Hi, we used Scott Schnall as the architect/expeditor to get a C of O for our house as a 2 family (it was a 1 family).   I was pretty happy with the whole process.
