Home Security System

We moved to a 2 family brownstone in brooklyn and looking for home security system. ADT gave a quote for $ 800 initial ( equipment + installation) and $ 49 after that with 3 year contract. I was wondering if anyone has can give me feedback about their service.

we use them for over twenty years , never really any issues , they set up service right then and there and come on time for the most part ,, i never had problems ,someone is always there to help me and if someones not available they get a tech 3 wayed on the phone , i like there system and service

safeway security systems 7183753050 has been doing that area since im a kid my whole block has them and my friends in a differant area just put a system in and were very happy , the same people have been ther since im a boy . there a honeywell dealer and there wireless system is great . call them

Not quite familiar with that brand. I use the video surveillance service by Alarmforce Videorelay based in Toronto as I heart quite a lot of good reviews about the same. They are good and has never given us problems. We are so assured of the safety of our house now.

I have dogs which is the best and cheapest guard of my house but i can’t really rely on them because burglars nowadays are genius in robbing a home. But I do read some alarm system reviews or home monitoring system. Read some feedback and complain about their job with past clients or present clients before purchasing any subscription to them. Get some trial first with there package or products and look for the cheapest but more secured for your home. This way it will be really safe our house for the burglars. I second redrobin. I had a horrible experience with ADT, horrible – got a full refund and then some for the damages done in my new home. A fellow Brownstoner member recommended Alarms R Us. I was and still am very happy with them.

Supreme Security, Mark Wynn 718-472 4971 We interviewed alot of them, sometimes I couldn’t wait to get them out of my house. Mark wasn’t pushy and we have been very happy with his company. Very responsive too.

We too installed (not much too install) Frontpoint and it works very well. You can add to as you go along and they have lots of different equipment options. Though you don’t need to sign a contract they will givve you a big break on the equipment price that you by if you sign 3 years. The Iphone app is very much worth it.

Frontpoint Security. Its a DIY system. So simple to install, soo cheap, and you dont have to get locked into a contract which ends up supsidizing your “free” install. We had a very good experience with Alarms R Us, even though the name is corny as is their website. It’s a family owned business and they were really nice to work with. Friends of ours in Cobble Hill recommended them. They’ll tell you what you need and don’t need — they weren’t pushy.
