Hello all, I went to an open house across the street from the substation on 23rd street. Are there any health concerns with living near a substation? Would any of you buy a home on 23rd between 5/6? Any other information I should know about substations? Thanks in advance!

Just Google “emf” and you’ll find thousands of hits on the supposed dangers of electro-magnetic fields. Whether you choose to believe all that dubious science depends on your ability to critically think things through.
I can’t speak to the substation (I’m a few blocks away from it) but 23rd btwn 5th & 6th is nice and quiet. I love that stretch of road. Aside from any health concerns you may have, I guess you have to consider whether or not it would bug you to look out on the substation from your front windows.
