Development Watch: Turnaround at 424 Waverly Avenue
What a difference two years makes! The owners of 426 Waverly Avenue purchased the aesthetically-challenged structure back in September 2007 for $1,166,000 and set about restoring it to its original glory. And what a job they’ve done! Hip, hip, hooray! GMAP DOB 2007 Photo from Property Shark

I have the old tax photo of my house and it has cloth awnings on it. It looks really cool with them. These Fiberama ones, not so much.

You’ll be pleased!
I think he *says* he likes the old because of his need to be a contrarian.
maybe the old look could have been landmarked at folk art or something.
I think you liked the old cause reminded you of NewJersey.
And where did you hear awnings back in style. I do admit they are ‘green’ – need less a/c in summer. But perhaps the awnings fashion was just from a vivid dream the other night.
i KNOW im going to get flack for saying it which is why i didnt wanna be the first to post, but i sorta kinda like the before picture better. i like the window awnings (awnings are SO gonna be back in style very soon btw) and all of you who ripped them off will probably be the first people in line at the awning store! you know it’s true.
