7 of 11 Townhouses Sold Spoken For at 614 7th Avenue
It’s taken some price-cutting to arrive at this point, seven of the eleven new townhouses at 614 7th Avenue are now in contract, according to the broker. (StreetEasy only shows six.) What’s more, the broker says that there are contracts out on another two. That’s quite a turnaround for a project that got no traction…

What’s more, the broker says that there are contracts out on another two. That’s quite a turnaround for a project that got no traction for most of the year! Update: On the jump, check out the video that a neighbor just made about some water issues at the site.

I’m the first to say you don’t live on the outside of a building. That said, I’m sorry, but they are truly fugly IMO. The top two floors look fine. But then the bottom two floors make the entire place look like a giant loading dock.
“they are pumping water out of the basements of the units”
LMAO. Now that’s what I call UNDERWATER!
“incentives include a slurpee and a free pump. i thought i saw a fish come out of the hose, too.”
ROTFLMMFAO!!!

7/11? incentives include a slurpee and a free pump. i thought i saw a fish come out of the hose, too.
I guess a photo, or rather a video can say a thousand words…or gallons I guess.
Wonder what those “7” are thinking now?
But wait, as IMBY stated, they must not read this site.
Can someone explain a term to me (please):
“In Contract, Sponsor Unit, Townhouse”
Are they not all the “Sponsor’s units”
Is he selling them to buyers, or just back to himself to pay off the construction loan?
Any brokers out there know that it may mean? I have no clue how the developer can go from ZERO sale to 7 units in one week.
Mighty fishy.
By the way, my friend on the block called me a while ago, they are pumping water out of the basements of the units…since 7am this morning!
Buyer beware…and bring your swim trunks.
I don’t like these, but I do love that they are selling despite the Brownstoner masses saying that they never would.
“7 of 11 Townhouses Sold” versus “seven of the eleven new townhouses at 614 7th Avenue are now in contract”.
Can’t be both. Market-wide cancellations are up.
