Rob, if you don’t want to get “dogpiled” then stop saying things that are patently absurd. You constantly make broad assumptions about everyone and everything, ALWAYS negative. And, when you are blithely denegrating entire groups of people, you are bound to find those of us who will take issue with it, especially when we know more about it than you do, or if we happen to actually belong to that group. If you don’t want to get piled on, stop slinging the sh*t.
did I or Mm denigrate him? I don’t think so. We disagreed, and politely, so screw him.
rob – I bet on balance you get as much support as denigration – maybe even more.
Oh Oh. Somebody pissed off Rob.
Upset- no. I’m tired of rob constantly commenting anywhere and everywhere as though he is some intellectual guru and everything he says is right. Neither Mm nor I were rude to him- as you can easily tell- but that doesn’t mean I have to agree with him. If he can post his opinions, we can post ours. Rob is acting like a child- he wants to say what he wants to say. He loves insulting people. Then he gets pissed if we don’t agree with him. Too bad.
ROB….Please don’t go…..

**rob**
where are you going?
I for one agree with alot
of what you’ve said regarding
the trust fund art world.
bxgrl and MM are upset that
you indirectly suggested
their field was vapid.
pete,
Of course we cannot say for sure that they didn’t save up some money from some previous jobs,
but,
quiting a paying job
starting a business
moving to a higher priced apartment
and paying student loans costs money.
2000 per month is high,
It’s worth it for this neighborhoood, to be sure,
but if they were truly concerned financially in
the worst recession in recent history,
they would opt for the 1200/month apartment in
Bushwick.
$2000 is still lots of coin, to rent an apt in nyc(mgtm run) building you would need to be making $80K/year.
