“it actually does inspire and enlighten me.”
Need I say more?
“ENY, looks like he’s gonna keep posting it until you agree that it’s ART. lol…”
Yeah, I think so! But as you know, I don’t often back down too easily. I mean, “art” as a concept is so broad that almost anything qualifies. I understand that. But when we’re calling bronzed shopping carts art something has gone terribly wrong.
it actually does inspire and enlighten me. i have a non-sexual shopping cart fetish! thus it’s art to me! i have a degree in art too, sooooo if i say it’s art it’s art.
art is stupid tho btw
*rob*
OK, so art is all about making money and working, huh? OK, well then this piece of crap definitely qualifies.
I mean, it’s not inspiring or enlightening in any way and there’s no nuance of any sort involved (there are similar homeless-people carts all over NYC), but it certainly was good business for the creator, so yeah, in that sense it certainly is art.
ENY, looks like he’s gonna keep posting it until you agree that it’s ART. lol…
C”ART”
“Making money is art and working is art and good business is the best art.” – Andy Warhol
Well, I think the only “art” involved in this thing is the creator’s uncanny ability to get someone to pay him for it and display it publicly. Now THAT was a true work of art!
I say it’s art. Maybe not great – or even particularly good art – but art nonetheless.
