Anyone know if they play just EPL games, or other leagues too? I watch EPL…significant other watches Bundesliga.
Please don’t tell me it’s World Cup time again! I’m sure there are some genuine fans out there, but mostly it is just a time for losers to claim they LOVE soccer (errr.. excuse me, football) so they can think they look cool and cosmopolitan. When it is over, they never even pretend to watch another game.
Sorry to say, but for me, it is so freaking boring that watching it makes me want to poke my eyes out. I’ll be sure to stay as far away from this place as possible.
We need a Floyd’s north of Flatbush. Any pub that opens at 7am serving a proper pint with a match on the tele is heaven in my book.
This is awesome. By the way, the official US soccer supporter’s pub is JAck Demseys at the friendly but admittedly less agreeable location of 33rd street between 6th and 7th in Manhattan. I intend to watch some club football here, can’t wait!
Haven’t been there yet, but walked by it on Friday night and it was PACKED! Always a good sign for a brand new place.

I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, but you’re right…I guess 2 of them could be people affiliated with the place. Doesn’t matter, it sounds like an excellent addition to the hood any way you slice it.

Soccer bars mean you hear a cheer once every hour, versus every 10 seconds in a basketball game where you really only need to watch the last 5 minutes.
“Soccer bar” = excuse for people that like to drink at strange times of day.
