Another restaurant says goodbye on 7th Avenue: Miracle Grill, on 3rd Street, closed up yesterday, according to Only the Blog Knows Brooklyn. OTBKB reports that Bobby Flay was the original chef at Miracle Grill’s first outpost in the East Village.

  1. 7th ave does have a large number of really mediocore restaurants, but I think most of them depend on drawing people from outside the neighborhood. They should break the curse on the 7th Ave/3rd Street location by bringing back Minsky’s.

  2. I thought the outdoor space looked inviting but the interior just looked bad to me so I never had any desire even to try it. I had always wondered why no restaurant ever seemed to make a go long term at that corner.

    Isn’t your biggest complain about PS usually about all the rich white yuppies strolling around?

    I’m usually the first person to comment about the actual diversity of Park Slope compared to what people actually think. But this particular area of PS on 3rd and 7th is indeed extremely affluent. Ever walked up there?
