The 24hr Bakery sign is a defunct Mexican Bakery that had been in the space for a long time.
Went to Franny’s on Friday night with a little hesitation from the mixed reviews.
It was absolutely AMAZING! We had this roasted pumpkin appetizer with parmesan and balsamic vinegar…SO good.
Then the pizzas…we tried three different ones….all were better than the next. We were literally all going crazy about how good our meal was…!
I’ll definitely be back.

Okay listen up…
I eat at Peppino’s and i go for the vodka pie, shrimp oreganata and my favorite eggplant parm roll..great food nice people.
The free bread is good, as is the fried eggplant and marinara sauce appetizer. Everything else… greasy, tasteless, and overall bad.
La Villa’s food is kind of mediocre and overpriced. But the free bread is amazing.
This is all sooo confusing. I don’t even know where I fall–am I a yuppy? I don’t think I’m a hipster; I’m not self-conscious about what I wear and I’m not too creative. I wonder how I’d be labeled…
But Park Slope yuppies used to be hipsters. They are former nonconformists turned enthused conformists.
Those aren’t hipsters, they’re yuppies. Please refer to the illustrations in your Brooklyn Field Guide of Stereotypes if you require further clarification.
