Judging from the crowds swarming around the latest Uncle Louie G Italian Ice/Ice Cream outpost on Smith Street this weekend, the chain’s newest location is already a hit. Wasn’t Uncle Louie the subject of a sexual harrasment lawsuit a few years back? I remember going there and seeing all these pretty underage girls, the lawsuit hit, and then bam, next time I went there it was all pimply boys serving the ice cream.
but a true connoisseur should know that the ice cream at Blue Marble is excellent.

Arguing over ice cream for goodness sakes. Get a life people. Those who like and want to spend their hard earned money on Blue Marble should. Those who like and want to spend their hard earned money on Uncle Louis G’s should. More and more miserable complaining people are taking over these posts and it is becoming a drag.

I go to ULG’s because the stroller moms there aren’t as obnoxious as the stroller moms at Blue Marble. Plus owners tend to go to Blue Marble, and as a renter, I don’t like to be around them.
ULG opened on 5th Ave too.
