As noted by Brooklyn Heights Blog, one of the Calexico Carne Asada carts is now stationed in Brooklyn Bridge Park, a few steps behind the Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory. The cart menu is missing the tortas and salads that you can grab at their Union Street restaurant, but they’ve got a full line-up of burritos, tacos, and rolled quesadillas, served with their signature “crack” sauce. According to Calexico’s twitter (which also lists daily specials), “We will be open in the park 7 days a week. Sunday through Wednesday 11:30-4 & Thursday through Saturday 11:30-9.” GMAP
