gemini, thanks for the tip! i’ll pass it on. I don’t think older men are the in demand demo, but what do I know.
about nanny pay — I think the Park Slope rate is low. I’m in Brooklyn Heights where $15 for 1 kid/18 for 2 kids is the standard first year rate with increases every year and 2-4 weeks paid vacation (depending on how many weeks the family is out of town). Also, I’d say people who pay on the books is half/half but I’ve always thought that was because there are so many DA-types here. They do make it too hard to pay on the books FWIW
I’ve heard two semi-friends in Park Slope explain their low paying ways (12ish) like this, “Well it’s fine really bcs her husband makes x so btw the two of them, they do fine”. Can you imagine if your salary took your spouse’s salary into consideration? What a bunch of bull

You mean the dress or the model?
“yeah – you told us how it can be a useful tool – but that’s not how lots of people use it.”
ENY, tell me how you use Twitter or any hand held apps?
“I’m stuck in 1983.”
In that case, be careful that your hair doesn’t get stuck in the chandelier.
That was a bit forward of me to ask. Sorry.

Re-write?
I am intentionally avoiding a blog turkey today.
I’ve had enough of dealing with turkeys today.
Thanks bxgrl…you sure you don’t mean they think I’m “shot”?
