“ENY, tell me how you use Twitter or any hand held apps?”

I don’t use it that way CH, but probably will in the near future. I use a Blackberry, from which it’s difficult (if not impossible) to post to Twitter. I post from my desktop computer now that I’ve started by own business.

If I switch to an iPhone or other device (Droid comes to mind), I will be able to post on Twitter from the device. I’m thinking of doing that soon.

My discussion with DH is pretty ironic, because that’s exactly how I use Twitter – I post news from the travel industry for other travel industry types who follow my posts, and I read posts from other travel industry types I know have access to good information. It’s a news source and a way to learn things quickly.

Following something like the Calexico burrito truck is probably a worthwhile use of twitter.

There was twittering going on in last night’s “The Good Wife” episode.

I didn’t accuse your family of owning a slave. I ASKED if your family owned a slave, based on your description of a nanny who worked for your family but was not paid. Your description of “Cookie” makes the situation much more clear. Sounds like a nice arrangement, actually.

And c’mon Rob, you make an idiotic comment on Brownstoner at least once every day! That’s not news. You’re not a bad guy overall. Just lazy and unmotivated, like M4L said.

same as facebook – some people use it for the same reason, rather than it’s intended purpose – stalking people from high school.
