Dave, no this ISN’T a bubble in gold. About 2 weeks ago the IMF has 13 tons of gold left to sell (now done with its selling program which was 1/8th of its inventory) and in one day GLD bought 15 tons of physical gold. There is an extraordinary investor demand for gold. Central Banks are net buyers now. China approved a gold ETF. The price action in gold however is not too impressive now; it has lost momentum, other forms of demand, i.e. jewelery off somewhat though Indians are still buying for that. I think that gold has built such an impressive base that it can resume the rally into the New Year. I am bullish on other commodities too – energy and we can see foods, of course, each with its own story, but we have had a surge in grains and softs recently. I think that this will continue. The correction in commodities from Thanksgiving were largely due to the monetary tightening measures by China.
Ye dave- an elf wears green tights and a felt vest. Their shoes are pointy. They work for milk and cookies and frighten the cats. Whereas a dwarf only works with metals and in mines. A midget expects to get paid for work so I need a bigger tiara budget to account for the salary and or the bribes I may have to offer the dwarf. BTW, elves today demand organic milk from grass fed, free range, specially bred cows, and fresh baked cookies delivered from a bakery in Paris. Paris France.
They are related genetically but there is a mutation that affects the hormone range differently in each. This can be scientifically measured but the test, alas, is rather destructive to their bodies.
This is typical liberal thinking! Just because dues are going up doesn’t mean we can/should spend more on tiara production! You’re just going to have to tighten your belt, get up off your fevered sick bed and make the damn tiaras!! ; )
OMG, Cobble calling out bxgrl on “typical liberal thinking” The world has turned topsy turvy
I had the Chicken Pox, actually all my siblings and I had it the very same week we were moving. I bet my Mom really enjoyed that, NOT!
I wouldn’t wish Shingles on my worst enemy.
dental dams… yuck. I couldn’t imagine.

It was a fleeting glance, CGar, not like I was staring at you.

He’s got an anxiety disorder 🙁 Poor boy is always stressed.
I never had the chicken pox, but I had the vaccine as an adult, and then the booster, and my doctor confirmed I have the anti-bodies.
