  1. Lech, I think you’re wrong, but am not feeling well enough to summon up a good argument.

My father, who had not 1 but 2 full-time manual labor jobs for most of his adult life (and whose hands are still callussed despite the fact that he retired 20 years ago) won’t go to therapy for himself but approves of it and saw the benefit for his children.

I spent the last 24 hours sleeping 45 minutes, running to the bathroom, sipping liquids so I didn’t dry up like a prune, and back to sleep. I feel a little better now. Thanks for asking.

  2. rf, I bet there’s no one on your street going to therapy!!!! Mine either.

Of wait, maybe some of the white hipsters who have moved in. they certainly have a lot of mental issues. they don’t even say hello to anyone on the street.

  3. OMG DIBS that Geico commercial almost made me piss my pants. And theat’s obviously the actor who played the drill sargeant in Full Metal Jacket (awesome performance, just awesome).

  4. rf there are almost no manual laborers out there who think therapy is even real. Seriously, if you know one guy who does manual labor and has a therapist I would be very surprised. Therapy is basically for New Yorkers who have never had callouses on their hands and think they are intellectuals.

How are you feeling btw? Hope you aren’t getting hit hard by the bug.

  5. That’s right DIBS. Therapy is a pastime for overeducated people who blame everyone else for their problems. I’ve always thought that pretty much 100% of the problems people go to therapists about would be solved if they had to wake up in the morning and do manual labor all day. How many manual laborers do you know who think they need therapy? Zero, yeah, that’s what I thought.

“waaaah I just have these feelings and this anxiety and…”

“SHUT THE FUCK UP AND GRAB A FUCKING SHOVEL!!!! THIS DITCH ISN’T GOING TO DIG ITSELF!!!!”

    Problem solved.
