  1. cobble, you definitely should give it a try. One order had 5 or 6 large dumplings and was something like $3.50. The dipping sauce was delicious too. So you can have a nice lunch there at a very low price.

  2. if you want real variety and authentic cuisine, the only place to go is Queens.
Authentic Southern Chinese; Main street Flushing
Authentic Indian: 74th St. Jackson Heights
    Authentic Colombian; Elmhurst
    Authentic Carribean: Jamaica

all this talk about Michelin or NYTimes or Zagat’s is nonsense. Unless of course you want to pay $389 for dinner, without tipping the sommelier.

  3. Kens…I like Tony. Did you know that the head chef there now started as an illegal Mexican dishwasher???!!! I will get his book.

Unfortunately, jolie’s fries are nothing to rave about.

  4. Likewise, Biff, we have an eye out for you and the Champettes! The rugrat is a pip! He’s got a devilish sense of humor, too. Cracks us up!

We have not yet tried Eton, but it is high on our list. BH LOVES him some dumplings!
