  1. Rob, I realized while cleaning this weekend that the nicotine patches I have for you are actually expired. I don’t know if you still want them or not. Drug manufacturers always say to toss expired meds because they lose potency, but I’ve always wondered if that was their little mindf*** to keep you buying more meds and therefore lining their pockets. Let me know if I should toss them or not.

  2. When I lived in Crown Heights for a year (1998-1999), I was treated extremely poorly because I was not from the islands and had no accent. They called me ‘white girl’ because I speak ‘all proper and sh!t’. It was very disconcerting. The apartment I had was huge, beautiful and cheap, but everything I went through while living there was simply not worth it. When the lease was up the landlord begged my friend and I to stay and offered to lower the rent (it was a 3 bedroom for 1100 a month) but we said no. I truly hope that section of CH has changed.

  3. btw – where’s our lovely couple to tell us about their date?
YoooHooo Jessi, 6yrs, come on, do tell.

I think they’re officially the first couple to hook-up via Brownstoner. Have there been any others that I dont’ know of?
