  1. “So the new people that have moved into Williamsburg are racist??? Not surprising.”

    Sweet gross overgeneralization!

I’ve been called racial slurs by people while in Crown Heights and Bed Stuy a couple of times, does that make the old timers there racist?

  2. Final(e) post on BSG (unless forced to respond 😉 posted yesterday but didn’t go thru:

BSG finale revisioning: Galactica jumps near the Base. All hell ensues. Anders screws up the Base’s defense (nice echo to episode 1, cylons screwed up the colonies’ defense computers.) A crack team moves in to rescue Hera. The entire Opera house sequence plays out in the Basestar. Hera rescued by Caprica/Baltar, escape. Much fighting, CGI effects. Galactica begins to disintegrate. Adama realizes suicide action needed. Anders can do a [whatever] jump INTO the Basestar to destroy it, but needs help maintaining his bodily fluids. Roslyn volunteers to help Adama and some others to execute jump. Two raptors are launched to collect Hera and rescuers. As they reach the raptors, Helo is killed. Athena, piloting Viper, mad with grief, rams a cylon ship (dies). Galactica jumps/raptors jump simultaneously back to fleet, with Lee, Hera, Baltar, Caprica the only majors surviving. Hera uses her vision to find Earth II. Hera tells B/C she is “their child,” thereby fulfilling another plot point from waaay back. All populate Atlantis so as to not pollute the natives.

    “Happy” ending!

  3. Arkady, that’s funny…both posted the same article at the same time.
Thanks! I’m definitely going to check out the bridges mentioned. While they’re not the best looking, alot of them are truss bridges which I’m really into right now.

  4. “Did you see the piece in the Times? Over 1000 bridges to walk over in NYC!”

NO!! Will search for it now. If you know the link, please post it.

I was driving on the Harlem River Drive and FDR on Saturday and noticed that in the 140’s – 115th streets, there were at least three bridges that were walkable.
    I’m excited.
