“DH, I would have thought that you had a skate board.”
Dave, I actually was never able to ride one – but I do have a pretty bitchin vintage schwinn.
Seriously though – I would imagine that collecting cars is not only a hobby but a form of investment? I would imagine if you had a car from 1931 you can’t really drive often – it is an appreciating asset (kinda like fine timepieces actually go up in value, rather then depreciate)
Slope, when is it moving?
I haven’t been reading up on it. I know a couple of years ago they were fighting to move it.
It reallly is an amazing collection of art and definitely agree it needs to be seen in it’s original setting.
I need to make a trip down there to see it again before it moves.
People, I’m telling you this is worth seeing in it’s current location….GO SEE IT!!!
I don’t think 1980s was a good time for conversion, some apts got brand new wiring, otheres not. The first one looks like my sisters in Lambertville, she has a 1878 italianate twin. The seconds looks like my 3 neighbors upstairs(all 3rd floor apts have marble mantles). I’ve got oak mantles, LR is about 8 feet high, BR is about 7, both with pier mirrors. Unfortunatley the suurounds are brick. Grey slate sounds elegant.
I don’t know about the tire trouble, but I can vouch for boobies giving problems!
“And all this time I thought you were a straight male.”
ooooh burn!! 😉
> “i don’t drive – people drive ME”
