All the people I’ve known like this were living in Northern California. It’s got nothing to do with New York City. Like this woman, they all led lives of elaborate drama and duplicity, even if they weren’t passing bad checks. The women tend to exhibit what the therapists call “borderline personality disorder.” One man I knew might have been a sociopath. Two of them are quite well known in their fields. Did you ever see “Shattered Glass”? That’s the type. Of course, the tattoo is an exciting twist.

Sorry, you’re not correct. As I mentioned above, the EIC accounts for BOTH the income tax and social security.

I don’t think most shareholders have been all that concerned with the stakes in their companies, benson. Unless by “stake” you mean “dividends paid,” which, some might argue, may have helped lead to this mess in the first place.

Furthermore, considering how much those EIC credited folk spend on sales tax and social security, I’m not sure why you think they have no stake.
