Better yet, Snappy, call him up and ask him to explain over the phone. It can’t hurt.
PS I can usually defrost frozen meat in about an hour when I get home, out of the freezer…a little warm water over it and place it directly onto the stone countertop and the countertop seems to dissipate heat into it fairly rapidly!!!! I never have to use the microwave.
Snappy, after the interview did you send a thank you letter?
I wouldn’t apply again, they’re going to remember you and think what a dope, she doesn’t remember we interviewed her already.
I would send a letter saying something to the affect….
Thank you for taking the time to meet with me blah, blah, blah. Although I didn’t get the job, please keep me in mind if a position in your firm opens up and tell them how interested you are in the firm blah, blah blah.
I would reach out to the partner. If you don’t get a response from them reapply. I wouldn’t pretend like I didn’t before because it’ll all come out in the wash.
Well, I totally snarfed all the chicken that was left at lunchtime (still yummy!) and I didn’t remember to take anything else out of the freezer to thaw (and my microwave is a piece of **** so no defrosting can happen there). I guess it will be tuna and crackers tonight.
Hey you guys, serious question…I applied for a job over a month ago and got called in for an interview. The interview went really well (partner was super impressed w/ my resume, etc.), but I didn’t get the job. Now I see that the same firm is hiring (again?) for the same position and has put out a new ad. Should I apply all over again and pretend I never did before? Send the partner I met with a note trying to remind him of who I am and asking for the job?
