  1. Health insurers have also been taken to task for increasing their premiums ahead of the healthcare bill. Much like the banks and their fees being raised.

randolph- you’re right. I’ll try to remember that but sometimes it’s so tempting! 🙂

  2. parsing words benson. blame vs. correlate/associate rising premiums with reform bill.
That is very transparent strategy/ talking points of the right wing.
Doesn’t matter if you don’t opening ‘blame’ — idea is just to associate it in publics mind for political gain — no matter that not connected.

  3. Ditto, the courting of Christie is very public and very VIP-like – ie almost blatantly telling the other candidates that they’re “NOT GOOD ENOUGH”. that’s the part that’s surprising. Of course to see some polls showing Rudi leading the polls is a little perplexing and WTF

  4. “quote:
mandates to cover “children” to age 26.

that is f’ing ABSURD. 26!? im sorry but it should be 18, or 22 if in college. 26!? no wonder moonfaces never grow the hell up.

    *rob*”

parents still have to PAY for the coverage, they simply raised the age at which you have to be on your own policy. not sure why that is so absurd, and age 26 is really not that grown up anymore. people used to be having their second kid by then, these days they are just getting their shit together.

  6. I still am no closer to getting health insurance than I was before, and no one I know of has gotten it either. I fail to see any big reform that would be costing us our national shirts. Congress managed to put so many riders, extraneous details and BS on most of the Health Bill that for all intents and purposes, nothing happened, so I fail to see how it can be robbing us blind.

I’d look to the insurance industry, which does not want anything to change, except their bottom line, which they hope to see rise. They have one of the most powerful lobbies in Washington.
