once pull away top branches used the ax to break apart.. maybe not a pickax… the one with the long thing.
I got myself stuck on wrong side of creek…..couldn’t find a place to wade back after water started coming. but eventually found a spot. I’m sure in 2 weeks I’ll be at it again.
So Pete, what’s the scoop with New Paltz. There is some kind of flower festival kind of thing that goes on with the beginning of June? I want to get up to the “gunks” to do some hiking.
The BBQ rose garden BTW is in full bloom. Really beautiful.
well, sometimes you go around curve too fast and sometimes fowl is crossing the road.
not pretty when it comes together same time. how sad. I’m broken up
M4L- I think a lot of people feel that way about someone in their life- the one that got away. Or never was. Sadder than that is holding onto to the memory and not being able to enjoy what you do have, or not moving on to someone who could make you happy given half a chance.
Pete, an ax makes no sense on a beaver dam. Just pull out the branches one by one.
My back aches like hell today from tearing up the dam on Sunday.
At one point I decided to attack the dam from inside the 5′ diameter culvert that they had dammed up. So I went in the culvert and there I was pulling apart the dam that was keeping probably a couple million gallons of water or whatever from rushing through the culvert. I went slowly and tried not to do anything that would cause the entire dam to collapse all at once. In hindsight, this was not a very smart move. I sometimes find myself taking dumb risks on the basis that I’ve got lots of life insurance so it’s all good.
just two fingers have little blister, but could be from anything as was doing lot in garden etc. just noticed today and did the work mostly friday. don’t really itch but put liquid skin on it.

Randomness, m4l. I just noticed the weird spring dating coincidence.
Pete, this is the beaver dam area when it’s not covered with water. It’s a pretty big pond when they dam it up.
