  1. they dam up the lake we are on and raise the water level….up to top of some peoples docks… the dam must be about 100′ across. they don’t bug me as much as the geese altho don’t come on our prop, are polluting the lake — getting lots of duckweed growing and more algae, etc.
we did cause some roadkill this past week. how sad.

  2. Pete, I thought I was totally immune from Poison Ivy. My friends used to get it when I was a kid and I never did. But in Kansas City, I must have had some killer strain in my backyard. You need to put calamine lotion on it and wrap it up so it doesn’t spread.

Glanced this thread about relationships and it scares me.

  3. Pete, you’ve never offered up many details re your beaver problem. What’s the story?

As unlikely as this must sound to everyone, you and I have a common interest when it comes to beavers.

  4. My only regret dating-wise is that I spent so much time in my youth pursuing girls I later realized were mainstream/societally sanctioned attractive (not here but back in the UK) but not what I actually found attractive when I was hoenst with myself. I want to swap out some of those memories of ivory-skinned blondes.

  5. i wore gloves and used a pick ax on the beaver dam. but manly as you are guess you just used bare hands.

I think I might have a tiny poison ivy blister from pruning tho. never got b4 so not sure.

  6. I don’t understand all this relationship talk. My girlfriend and I broke up this weekend, staying friends though. I noticed for the past 8 years, I’ve had a girlfriend from March to June, with the exception of 2008, in the winter. June always feels like a mail-it-in month since I go away every July.
