I had 2 freshman year roommates, one of whom is now a very well-known poet.

So strange, back in the day, it would be no big deal to go at it with other people in the room. Now, that would be totally distasteful. I guess it’s because back then there was nowhere else to go.
Oh except I guess I made out with namor’s recently ex girlfriend the last day of school.
Years after we moved out my roommate told me I was the best friend he’d ever had. He was in the closet and came out our sophomore year.

I didn’t drink, date, or smoke at all my freshman year as part of my contrarian life model.
My first roommate lasted about 2 days until he moved in with someone else.
I ended up with a guy from my home town who I had never met before. We ended up being friends and we still keep in touch.

I lived in a quad my freshman year – two drug addicts and one nice girl from New Jersey. One addict dropped out and we kicked the other out of room so two of us shared a quad second semester.
But yeah, pretty weird that two randoms are forced to share a single room.
