dave, what do vaccines have to do with autism? Many people are convinced, contrary to all the studies, that there is an increase in autism because of childhood vaccinations. In the past, when there were fewer or no vaccinations, the autism rater seemed much lower. I am making the same comparison with the apparent increase in number of Gays since after vaccinations became widespread.
That would leave you out of course since you were born prior to the advent of modern science.

I think Minard is referring to (and mocking) the much-disproved theory that autism is caused by childhood vaccinations; if they cause autism, why would they not also cause other things perhaps.

Minard, I’m not sure I understand all you say, but I’m not referring to Asberger’s Syndrome.
I am not taking any issue of *how many* of *anything* before or presently. I don’t know. My run-in with autism was before Oprah and don’t know what she says about it or any other talk show people.
