  1. Money Available:

The Board of Elections is seeking poll workers for polling sites throughout the city.

Poll workers earn $200 for every election worked.

    In Brooklyn contact:
the local city councilman or woman
    for a one page application,
    send it to:
    345 Adams Street
    Brooklyn NY 11201
    fax: 718 246-7357

  2. I have a Dell Inspiron laptop which I bought a few months ago after my laptop from hell, mercifully died on me. I came to the conclusion that every Microsoft OS problem (this was Vista) was visited upon me. I wanted a MAC but the price differential was so wide, I bought a DELL, so far so good.

  3. Strawberries used to be the size of your thumbnail, bursting with flavor. Occasionally they’d be a bit bigger, depending on the variety, but nothing like the super-berries of today, which are usually as tasteless as styrofoam. I love strawberries, but generally speaking, unless you get them in those three weeks when local berries are in season, they aren’t worth bothering with, no matter how cheap.

  4. bxgrl, I’m not that sophisticated user so I dont mind apple’s bossy user interface controls on their OS and love that their OS is more stable (less need to constantly load patches, virus infections) and the look is real nice & sexy
