I grow the little strawberries & they’re really wonderful. Ex-bf brings me Maine blueberries – the little teeny ones are far superior to those marble-sized ones in supermarkets.
Back in the 80s, Sun Microsystems missed a quarter and blamed it on a few sales that didn’t make it to japan because the strawberry season was early and they took up all the space on the 747 freighters.
Swung by Smorgasburg on Saturday. Was definitely more lowkey and enjoyable than the Flea. Most of the vendors appeared to be sold out of most items around 4pm.
i guess i just completely dont comprehend moonface economics. oh well

Strawberries same as tomatoes…off season don’t bother and never get them at a supermarket…only in season in local farm markets.
