I got a letter from NYS asking for my daughter’s birth certificate. She’s 15! Not like this is the first year I claimed her! I think the letter said it was an audit.

i think if you get audited you get a much scarier email
i wonder if i just forgot to put the W2 in the envelope when i sent it.. NYS seems to like to harass me for something. so annoying.

Rob, they say it’s incomplete, so call and ask what they need. Not sure this all means you’re “being audited.”
they want a copy of my last paystub from 2010. why would they want that? isnt the w2 form enough!?
